The idea behind KantaPass.
Big chains have apps, points, and a direct line to every customer. Independent cafés, restaurants, and bars don't. Building an app is expensive, and most people won't download one anyway.
So we skipped the app. The wallet is already on every phone, people already pay with it, and a card there sits next to their bank cards. That gives a small venue the same direct line to its regulars that the big chains have.
